Senior Rental Controller

Our client provides temporary power solutions to the construction trade - they are a growing business and are looking for a Senior Hire Controller to join their team. The purpose of the role is to ensure accurate, efficient and timely completion of all aspects of hire contract management from enquiry and order confirmation through to final invoicing. As Senior Rental Controller the job requires full understanding of Key Accounts and the rehire and rental industry.
Relationships:
- Responsible to: Rental Operations Manager
- Responsible for: Contract Management and accurate invoicing
- Liaison with: Sales and Operations team, and credit control and finance, key customers
Main tasks of job:
- Management of work flow platform (Trello)
- Accurately manage Hire Contract process to completion and final invoice (Supporting primarily National Accounts)
- Liaise with internal and external customers at all levels.
- Ensure that documents are controlled, updated and in line with internal Policies and Procedures
- Invoice query prevention and resolution
- Interaction with all internal rental locations
- Conduct daily checks using BI reports to ensure KPI’s and targets are met by team
- Displays a commitment to operational excellence and initiative, and customer satisfaction.
- Working closely with the National Accounts Manager to support key customers
Desired skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced hire/rental role
- Experience using rental platforms, and contract management
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective planning, organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility and ability to prioritise tasks for yourself and team
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience preferred but not essential.
- Microsoft office knowledge
- Quality orientated with a high level of attention to detail and working to deadlines
