Our client is a designer and manufacturer of equipment for special purpose vehicles (emergency services etc). They are well trusted in the sector that they operate in and for close working relationships with their customers. The right candidate has to be technically minded due to the nature of the sales process & have the ability to take specs from customers and then brief the manufacturing team.

The role:

You will reporting directly to the Commercial Director and be responsible for growing existing accounts and forging relationships with new ones.

You will be:

- Researching new potential customers and forging new relationships

- Understanding customers needs and build specifications

- Working with public sector tenders

- Attend overseas and UK based exhibitions

- Assess where to spend your time to ensure a ROI

About you:

- Technically minded to understand and take briefs from customers

- Solid sales experience

- Experience of working with professional fleets is preferred

- Happy to travel - territory is Midlands & the South

- You must have a valid UK driving license

- Microsoft Office literate

- Valid passport

- Bags and bags of enthusiasm - you must be driven to succeed and be a brilliant team player
