Our client is a manufacturing business based in Leeds who provide structures for the construction trade. They are a business that is on a massive growth trajectory and due to their continued growth they are looking for a Key Account Manager – you will be responsible for developing & growing sales with existing key customer base in line with agreed business objectives & targets.
The role:
To achieve turnover & margin targets for existing Key Accounts as well as agreed SLAs & KPIs.
Develop and execute customer plans in a specified account base through upselling & cross selling our full portfolio of products.
Meet agreed business objectives in new and existing accounts, through maximising profit and distribution to increase throughputs of our products.
Build and develop relationships with external & internal customers and stakeholders, ensuring that we deliver the project on time & in budget delighting the customer.
Ensure all relevant systems are updated as necessary.
Establish and execute pricing strategy in accounts as necessary.
Gain a full holistic picture of account base including decision makers & spend.
About you:
Proven track record of excellent performance in sales.
Knowledge of telephone sales techniques & overcoming objections.
Resilience and self-motivated as ability to cold call & upsell a must.
Experience of developing energising relationships across functions to enable customer plans that deliver results.
Experience of delivering and over delivering stretching targets.
Experience of delighting the customer at every touch point.
