Our client operates in the construction sector & they are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving the growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the construction sector.

Duties

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Work within the existing customer base of contractors & subcontractors to build relationships & growth
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for upselling services.
  • Prepare quotes along with the technical team & manage any issues, or delays.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and customer needs.
  • Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the company’s brand and establish connections.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales management, within construction
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Passionate & hungry for success.
  • Strong team player.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
